Horses were the main mode of transport during the olden days but today is rather an expensive proposition to own and enjoy horse rides. Royal India Holidays Pvt Ltd has been designed a tour for you where you can come and try your riding skills. Horse safari can be arranged for small groups of 8 to 10 people or above. One needs to have at least a week's time to enjoy the horse safari through the beautiful landscape of Rajasthan, its cultures and its simplicity. The itinerary is for intermediate or advanced riders. One escort cum trail boss travels with the group and leads it. Mostly Marwari breed horses are used for Safari in India. The accommodation will be provided in camps, palaces or old hunting lodges and resorts.

Day 1 - Arrival/Delhi

You will be met on your arrival at Delhi International airport and transferred to Hotel.

Delhi, Capital City of independent India rewards the determined sightseer with more than a thousand monuments and two old capital buildings complexes-including the present seat of Government, designed by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. Cosmopolitan hotels, shopping, and fine restaurants abound. Delhi also offers a glimpse into the real India: the labyrinthine street bazaars of Old Delhi, and the temples and monuments of Indian's chequered colonial past. In the deepest sense, from Old Delhi's Red fort and Jama Masjid mosque to New Delhi's chic art galleries and nightclubs, Delhi is profoundly Indian city. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2 - Delhi

In the morning after breakfast you will be taken on the sightseeing tour of Delhi by chauffeur driven and private guide visiting various historical monuments like Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s tomb and Qutab Minar and Imperial building like Parliament house etc. You will can also visit some religious places like temples, churches and Sikh shrines during you sightseeing tour. However the highlight of the tour will be the rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk bazaar of Old Delhi. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3 - Delhi/Nawalgarh

After early breakfast leave for Shekhawati (6 to 7 hrs drive). On arrival check into Roop Niwas Kothi. Shekhawati is the region famous for its frescoes and paintings. The region was once a stronghold of the Marwari community or the tradesman. Evening horse ride around the palace to get accustomed to horses. Overnight at Roop Niwas Kothi.

Day 4 - Nawalgarh

After breakfast ride around the palace and into the nearby fields so that you acquaint yourself areas around. Return to the hotel for lunch and then again in the evening take your horse for a ride. Overnight Roop Niwas Kothi

Day 5 - Nawalgarh/Parasrampura/Lohargal - 32 km.

After breakfast leave with the group for the Safari that will take you around in Rajasthan through various sand dunes and terrains with the horses trotting and walking in the Royal Land of Rajputs and chieftains. Stop for picnic lunch at a designated place. After resting for few hours we begin our horse ride again with hosts and the other group members. On arrival stay at the camp specially set up to stay overnight.

Day 6 - Lohargal/Rewasa/Sujas - 38 km.

Today after breakfast we will leave for Sujas via Rewasa passing through valley of sand dunes and the through the grasslands. Lunch will be organised at a local farmer’s house en route. Overnight at Camp.

Day 7 - Sujas/Kochor/Sulyas(Ramgarh) - 35 km.

After early breakfast we will start our ride that will take about 6 hrs to reach Sulyas another small town. En route we will have picnic lunch. Overnight at the Rest House.

Day 8 - Sulyas/Shyamgarh - 30 km.

Morning after breakfast leave for Shyamgarh riding on your horses for 5 to 6 hrs today. Picnic Lunch will be organised en route at a very beautiful spot amidst the valley of dunes. Overnight at Camp.

Day 9 - Shyamgarh/Bhagwanpura/Salt Lake "Nawa" - 42 km.

Leave Shaymgarh in the morning after breakfast and ride 6 to 7 hrs on your trotting horses to reach Salt Lake "Nawa". En route stopping for picnic lunch. Overnight at Camp.

Day 10 - Salt lake "Nawa"/Paner/Salemabad - 45 km.

Morning ride to Salemabad via Paner passing through the beautiful country side. Today the ride will be a bit long. Picnic lunch will be organised en route. Overnight at Camp.

Day 11 - Salemabad/Babicha/Mayapur - 35 km.

Today we will be riding for about 4 to 5 hrs passing through the country side and the desert. You can see and meet the local shepherds grazing their sheep and goats in the green pastures. Overnight in camp.

Day 12 - Mayapur/Charanwas/Pushkar - 25 km.

After early breakfast you will ride to Pushkar, the famous holy town. It is believed that a lotus flower fell from the hands of Lord Brahma and thus the valley was created. The Pushkar lake is considered to be holy and you will find lots of Hindu devotes offering prayers on the banks of the lake. Evening explore the town and the holy lake with your driver. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 13 - Pushkar/Jaipur

Morning explore the town on your own. Later drive 3.5 to 4 hrs to Jaipur, which means city of victory and now popularly known as Pink city due to red coloured building and houses. On arrival stay at the hotel for overnight.

Day 14 - Jaipur

Today after early breakfast you will be picked up by your private local guide and driver to be taken on an excursion of Amber, the capital of the ancient region. In the afternoon weave through the lively streets of the Jaipur City and visit the pink sandstone Palace of Winds, City Palace with its museum and Jantar Mantar (18 centaury observatory). Overnight at Hotel.

Day 15 - Jaipur/Agra

After breakfast drove 5 to 6 hrs to Agra en route visiting Abhaneri Step wells Agra, the capital city of the Mughal era is the home to Astonishing Taj Mahal, a symbol of eternal love. On arrival stay at the hotel for overnight.

Day 16 - Agra/Delhi/Departure

Early morning visit to Taj Mahal at sunrise. After breakfast visit Agra. Later drive 5 hrs to Delhi international airport for your flight to onward destination.
