DAY 01: Arrival / Delhi

Meeting and assistance on arrival at Delhi airport by Royal India Holidays representative and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Capital City of independent India rewards the determined sightseer with more than a thousand monuments and two old capital buildings complexes-including the present seat of Government, designed by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. Cosmopolitan hotels, shopping, and fine restaurants abound. Delhi also offers a glimpse into the real India: the labyrinthine street bazaars of Old Delhi, and the temples and monuments of Indian’s chequered colonial past. In the deepest sense, from Old Delhi’s Red fort and Jama Masjid mosque to New Delhi’s chic art galleries and nightclubs, Delhi is profoundly Indian city.

DAY 02: Delhi / Manali by overnight semi sleeper coach

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Old & New Delhi by AC Tempo Traveller / Coach.

Visit Jama Masjid, Drive past to Red Fort, visit to Humayun’s Tomb, Drive past to India Gate, Rajpath and other govt. buildings, visit to Qutub Minar and stop at Lotus Temple for photo.

Evening get ready for overnight drive to Manali by Coach/ Tempo Traveler.

DAY 03: Arrival / Manali

Meeting & assistance on arrival at Manali bus station and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day free to acclimatize with high attitude and to know your bike.

DAY 04 – Manali (220 Kms) Dharamsala

After an early breakfast at the hotel restaurant get ready for the first day of ride.
En route stop for few minutes at Padhar and 1 hour stop at Palampur.
On arrival at Dharamsala, check into the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 05 – Dharamsala (230 Kms) Udhampur

After an early breakfast at the hotel restaurant get ready for the 6 hrs ride to Udhampur.
En route stop for fewer minutes at Pathankot and at Samba.
On arrival at Udhampur, check into the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 06 – Udhampur (260 Kms) Srinagar

After an early breakfast at the hotel restaurant get ready for the approx 9 hrs ride to Srinagar.
En route stop for 1 hrs at Ramban.
On arrival at Srinagar, check into the Houseboat for overnight stay.

DAY 07 - Srinagar

After breakfast proceed for city sightseeing of Srinagar.
Day free for the motorbike checkups.
Overnight stay at Houseboat.

DAY 08 : Srinagar (210 Kms) Kargil

After breakfast ride to Kargil. En route stop 30min. at Sonmarg. Continue riding towards Drass, en route Zoji La pass (11640 fts.) & register yourself here. Within an hour of crossing Zoji La, you would be at Drass.

If you have reached here late in the afternoon then the recommendation would be to have meal here. Visit Drass Memorial, a few kms beyond Drass.

From Drass it will take an hour to reach Kargil.
Overnight stay at hotel/Homestay.

DAY 09: Kargil (110Kms) Lamayuru (125 Kms) Leh

After breakfast ride to Lamayuru, en route stopping at Mulbet to see "Future Buddha Rock Statue" , stop at Namika La (12198 fts) and the highest point on the Srinagar - Leh highway, (13,479ft).

Village of Lamayuru, Ladakh is the most famous and has one of the oldest Gompas.

After 1 hr stop start your ride towards Leh. Few kms down the road from Lamayuru are the Hangro Loops, the 18 loops are fast yet sharp loops with steep gorges. Next major attraction en route is Gurudwara Patthar Sahib located in the town of Nimmu (55kms from Leh), beyond which is fast and straight forward ride to Leh.
On arrival at Leh, check into your hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 10: Inner Line Permit | Sightseeing of Leh

AM, ready to get inner line permits for Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso, Tso Moriri.
After breakfast check up of motorcycles and then visit to Shanti Stupa and Ancient Leh Palace.
Overnight stay at Hotel/Homestay.

DAY 11: Leh (40Kms) Khardung La | Leh

An early start should ensure that one reaches Khardung La without encountering lot of traffic.

Once you reach the pass, you can take time out to get your photo taken next to the signboard which says “Khardung La, 18380ft, Highest Motorable Road in the world”. For those out of breath, there are café at the pass, where one can have a much needed cup of tea/coffee along with some snacks.
Later ride back to Leh for overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 12: Leh (200 Kms) Ride to Pangong Tso

Start off from Leh early in the morning after breakfast and start riding on the Leh – Manali highway to reach Pangong Tso.

En route few minutes stop at Chang La, beyond which beautiful scenery awaits you.
Your next big break will be at Tanksey - a big town with few shops, hotels and an internet café.
On arrival at Pangong, check into your camp/tent for overnight on the banks of the beautiful lake.

DAY 13: Pangong Tso (198 Kms) Hemis

After breakfast get ready to ride towards Hemis.

Hemis Monastery is revered as the largest monastic institution in Ladakh district of Jammu and Kashmir in north India. The monastery has more than 200 branches with more than 1,000 monks in the Himalayan region. Hemis Monastery is the wealthiest monastery in India and famous for its rich collection of ancient remnants like the statue of Buddha made of copper, stupas made of gold and silver.

Evening enjoy the famous butter tea at local restaurant.
Overnight stay at Homestay/hotel.

DAY 14: Hemis (191 Kms) Tso Moriri

After an early breakfast start early ride from Hemis to Tso Moriri. From Hemis ride to Karu to full your bike petrol tank (Carry extra petrol in cans).

From Karu one needs to take the Leh – Manali highway till the town of Upshi. At Upshi check post you need to submit your permits.

After 95 Kms ride you will reach Chumathang. After lunch at Chumthang ride 60 Kms towards Tso Moriri.

Even though Tso Moriri is smaller than Pangong Tso and fewer people come here, it is more beautiful in some ways due to the fact that area surrounding Tso Moriri is a wild life reserve.
Overnight stay at camp/tent/homestay.

DAY 15: Tso Moriri (150 Kms) Sarchu

After breakfast, spend the morning at leisure. Later start your ride to Sarchu.

Sarchu, at an altitude of 14,000ft, is a collection of tents and a militarily base. Even though it is quite high in altitude, it is recommended for overnight stop before heading towards Manali.
Overnight rest at camps/tents.

DAY 16: Sarchu (250 Kms) Manali

Early morning start your ride towards Manali. After 84 Kms you will reach Darcha. Stop here few minutes.

After Darcha ride 28 Kms to Keylong pass and then more 75 kms to Rohtang via Keylong & Tandi. At Tandi fill up your motorbike tanks. Quick stop at Rohtang Pass for photos and then ride 60 Kms to Manali.
On arrival at Manali check into you hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 17: Manali / Delhi

Day free to explore the town on your own.
Evening you will be transfer to the Manali bus station to board AC semi sleeper overnight coach to Delhi.

DAY 18: Delhi / Departure

On arrival at Delhi proceed to your onward destinations.

Prices will include:

• Accommodation on twin sharing basis
• English speaking guide and monument entry fee in Delhi, Srinagar & Leh.
• Air conditioned transport for transfers and sightseeing in Delhi as per itinerary.
• Bus fare from Delhi to Manali to Delhi in Air conditioned Semi Sleeper Coach.
• Tour Leader / Guide Throughout the tour.
• Mechanics & backup team with backup Vehicle throughout the bike trip. (Carrying Spares, Tools, snacks and space for clients if someone falls sick)
• All Accommodation (MAP 15 days from Manali to Manali) 
• Accommodation in Delhi on bed & breakfast basis in Delhi
• Royal Enfield 350cc @ 500cc
• All Permits and Monument Entry Fee.
• All presently applicable Taxes.

All visitors to India require a valid passport. A visa for entry to India is required by most nationalities.
